Guided by global concerns about money, inevitably inspired by  the economic crisis, Moschino footwear brand provides their own response to the issue. Moschino summer collection is a nice and original surprise for brand’s fans – the designers decided to place money elements on their new products.

Moschino has always had the reputation of a brand that is quite full of unexpected turns, hidden motives and contextual designs. Their tendencies are prone to surrealism and unusual solutions.

This time Moschino decided to play with the notion of money and cheer up those pessimists, who gave way to despair in the time of the current economic crisis.

Moschino’s money are printed on thick textile that is used to decorate the top of extravagant Money shoes. The inner side of the shoe is also decorated with money prints. Money is accompanied with naïve bows and hearts, which makes the shoe all the more interesting. The first thought that comes to mind is that this is a manifestation of love to money be the designers. But with Moschino you never know. The hidden sense could be a lot deeper.

The toe of the shoe is accessorized with a cute bow, which looks in a way like a carelessly folded banknote with two coins on top.

One of the coins optimistically reads – Funny Money. Well, may be money isn’t really that funny, but Money shoes by Moschino really are.

In general, Money shoes have a vintage heel and quite a usual shape. It is only the financial decoration that makes the shoe unique, and, in that, so appealing. The shoe looks like a funny souvenir, but the one, that can be easily worn in real life. The luxury of wearing this shoe on your feet will only cost you about three hundred US dollars, but what is money? Money is funny!
