It looks like after the magnificent presentation of Chanel Mobile Art Pavilion in New Yorks’ Central Park, Zara Hadid decided to direct her attention towards smaller items. As a result, Zaha Hadid and Lacoste are launching a new line of architectural footwear. This collection is filled with bold styles and designs executed in the spirit of ultra-minimalism. Streamline shapes, precise lines and fantastic design have already managed to become a characteristic feature of this unusual creative union.

Lacoste and Zaha Hadid have already been working together rather successfully for 2 years straight . The first year resulted in the invention of Lacoste-Hadid sneakers, while the fruit of the second year of cooperation is a bit more colorful and created for both, men and women.

The initial style of the first sneakers became in some way a powerful spur to the development of a whole new concept of a sports shoe. After an impressive number of studies and experiments with new shapes, Zahi Hadid decided to create streamline shaped shoes, inspired by mother nature itself. New styles also focus on transmitting the message of cooperation between humans and environment.

For example, the soft bootleg of this shoe exquisitely wraps the leg of the wearer, and with the help of a special technology calf skin perfectly retains the required shape.

The surfuce of the sneaker is labelled with an already easily recognizable computer-processed Lacoste logotype.
These unusual limited edition shoe will be available on sale in mid July and will be sold only at three stores in Paris, London and Milan. The collection will be available for regular sale in September of this year.

As of the moment the line includes 4 main colors: black and purple for women, and sea color  and black for men. New colors are planned to be introduce into the collection later on.
